Come to the Party Janeane Garofalo

This is so well done that I had to grab it and help get this around. It's not long. Some of the talent from www.pjtv.com are included. Some locals and they saved the best until the last. Take a little time to view.

Obama Trauma

Ok, I just saw the scariest video ever. I want you also to see it. If you don't know the full implication of this it is that this is the first indication of what Obama is capable of. The Inspectors General are a group of people that oversee government institutions and assure that the great sums of money they receive is spent honestly. They keep everyone honest. Last year (2008) a law was passed that states that they can only be fired by the President with a 30 day notice and "cause". Obama went to Congress, told them he was firing him but no cause was given. Only that he had lost confidence in Walpin.

I hope this one gets hauled up the flag pole...obviously not on the mainstream media but over the internet, through your Tea Party Groups and over the talk radio circuit.

God Bless America and save us from Obama Trauma. I know it's long but it's important. Watch it!

Continuation

Well, I'm back. I have been fighting a bad case of "what the heck now??? where do I go?? in what direction do I go??? and more than anything do I have the energy to continue???". I am now convinced that this is a disease that can and has been more devastating than the Swine (oh, excuse me, the h1n1 virus) Flu ever could be. Declare Stage 5 on me, but I'm getting better. As a matter of fact I'm pretty great right now. I just found out that I have two comments that have been waiting for me to moderate (thanks Shawn), I may be starting a newsletter with my email/Tea Party Buddy and the leader of our Tea Party (let's give it a shameless plug as Michael Medved would say) http://www.meetup.com/San-Diego-Tea-Party. My Tea Party Buddy is Laura and we have very similar experiences I believe, in that we had lost that strong patriotic feeling (or at least I had) that was so exhilarating right before April 15th and after Sept 12th.

So, what is different now? As I said the prospect of starting a newsletter is really getting my juices going right now. I feel that my direction and clarity about what I want to do with this blog and my political life seems to be experiencing a shifting of tides. I am evolving into a more determined action. I'm not sure, ever, what is going to come out on these pages and I struggle with that. I am determined to continue regardless. My mind is to be trusted, not my skills...they will come along for the ride.

The first 100 days. What a mess!!!! Obama is sooooo smooth isn't he. He could smooth out the face of a Sharpei...but do you believe him. Well I DON'T!!! Let's see. He has trotted out at least 3 candidates with tax problems...I get it now...redistribute the wealth means everyone but my people! Sham! The spendulus bill...now that was a great idea...let's print about a trillion dollars, spend it on the government, tell everyone that it will create jobs and then someone else (our children and grandchildren and probably great grandchildren) can hopefully pay for it!!! No new taxes for anyone but the top 5% (oh yeah, and his guys)...wait for it...oh yeah, gas tax, cigarette tax, highway tax, etc...and we haven't even started talking about Scharzeneggar's boondoggle.

Kathleen Sebelius - HHS - Strong Pro Life Positions
Howard Koh - HHS - Transnationalist...luckily not confirmed yet
Janet Napolitano - DHS - Interesting...was he thinking when Obama made this move????
Tim Geithner - Treasury - Mr. Too Important to Fail
***Oh, let's not go on with this..you get the idea.

The many faux pas' al0ng the way. I won't list them all but here are a few:

--The bow to the King of Saudi Arabia.
--The handshake with Chavez.
--The Apology Tour during the G20 Summit.
--The refusal to meet with Sarkozy to visit Normandy.
--Letter to Iran.
--Closing of Gitmo, but where does he want to release them...maybe your neighborhood??
--Nationalizing the banking industry.
--Nationalizing the auto industry.

Finally, I don't want to say that he hasn't accomplished anything. On the contrary, he has accomplished a tremendous amount but he, in my opinion has made a huge mistake. He did not do this while being transparent, bi-partisan and giving everyone a chance to read and examine legislation proposed and that is the GREAT MISTAKE. He lied and 63% of the people out there don't care right now. Well, 47% get it and this percentage will rise once his actions kick in. Will it be too late then? I don't know, you tell me. I pray it isn't.

Obama Great Pirate Adventure

This is the funniest thing I have seen for quite some time and really highlights Obama's reach and approach. Enjoy.

Amazement

I'm amazed that some people are amazed about what Obama is becoming. Why???? I'm amazed that they think he is becoming a socialist...I and many others saw it because he told us he was. He told Joe the Plumber he was, he told us all he was, but many didn't listen. They heard "HOPE" and "CHANGE" but didn't take the time to listen that hope, was something that he would destroy soon after he was in office and change was the change that he would install that would take us away from our fundamental ideals.

I was asked tonight after watching Glenn Beck, "What are we going to do to survive?". My answer was "I am not sure yet." I'm not, but I know that the answer lies in continuing with this blog. I am at best a mediocre writer, always have been and probably always will be, but I somehow feel that if I voice my thoughts I will get closer to that answer. At worst, I won't hurt anyone with my writing since it is not likely that many people are going to see it (for those of you that do...sorry). I also said that there is hope though and that there is a groundswell that I feel that will hopefully bring all conservatives together and ultimately give us such a strong voice that we can get politicians into office that will remember why they are there. Not like most of them now that understand that the reason we are here is that we're such idiots we will vote them back in with virtually no more effort than spending a couple of million on tv ads. That is the hope that I have...that there are enough people out there that become disgusted enough to start thinking...what fools they were...to vote someone in because he is a great orator (and the Bama is a great orator when he has a teleprompter) and because they need to vote against someone because they were taught to hate his predecessor by the media (I think that Bush was deficit in many areas but he kept us safe, he kept the hounds of the baby killers at bay and he gave us a nice tax cut...kiss that good bye).

I hope that many more will join the "We Surround You" movement that is being put together by Glenn Beck and "The American Tea Party" that was inspired by Rick Santelli and others that I'm sure will gain in momentum. It is by this that we may keep this nation on an even keel. I heard Mary Matlin interviewed by Hugh Hewitt today and they were discussing what state the Republican party is in and could it survive without strong leadership in the present political climate. She stated something that I won't forget and that it is sometimes a good thing that there is no strong leadership at the top. It gives us all time to think and answer the important questions...what do we believe, what do we do to get back to where we belong and how do we watchdog our leaders so they don't get to a place again where they once again believe that we are like Lenin's "useless idiots" and will vote them in over and over only because they possess an "R" at the end of their name.

No, I don't know where I'm going with this blog, but I do know that I will know more as I ask those questions, seek answers and gain a trust again. I will get there and I hope all conservatives will get there and someday we will be able to say that we stand for good, we love God and are guided by Him and that evil is evil and be able to openly identify it.

Until next time,

Southern Patriot.
